About the Role

VerifyUs is a growing job board dedicated to transparency and efficiency. We are looking for a Self-Starter Developer to take ownership of our next major evolution: transforming raw data into actionable insights and integrating AI to streamline the hiring process.

You won't just be maintaining a site; you will be building the engine that helps employers understand their reach and helps candidates find the perfect role through intelligent matching.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Analytics Dashboards: Design and implement comprehensive dashboards for both employers and admins to track KPIs, application flows, and site traffic.

  • AI Integration: Implement AI-driven features such as automated CV parsing, "Best Match" job recommendations, and intelligent search filtering.

  • Feature Development: Build and optimize features using PHP and JavaScript to improve the core user experience.

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and scale our cloud environment to ensure high performance as our data needs grow.

  • Frontend Excellence: (Optional) Use React to build modern, reactive interfaces for our data visualization tools.

Required Skills
PHP: Deep understanding of backend logic and server-side integration.
  • JavaScript: Proficiency in building interactive elements and handling data asynchronously.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Experience or Google Cloud (prefered) or AWS, Azure.
  • Data Visualization: Experience with libraries like Chart.js, D3.js, or similar for building statistics dashboards.
  • AI/ML Interest: Experience with (or a strong desire to learn) integrating APIs like OpenAI, LangChain, or Pinecone for job matching and data extraction.

  • Nice to Have
    Experience with React for modern frontend builds.
  • Background in the HR-tech or Job Board industry.
  • Knowledge of SQL optimization for handling large datasets.
